The delegation from the University \"Ukshin Hoti\" Prizren, consist of prof. ass. dr. Ekrem Gjokaj, prof. ass. dr. Nol Krasniqi as well as the head of the project office Mr. Tauland Thaqi, are staying in Bordeaux, France<\/h3><\/div>

The delegation from the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, consist of prof. ass. dr. Ekrem Gjokaj, prof. ass. dr. Nol Krasniqi as well as the head of the project office Mr. Tauland Thaqi, are staying in Bordeaux, France. This visit is part of the project “Vineyards and Winery University France-Kosovo” project led by the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences of the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, in cooperation with Bordeaux Science Agro, where as the main goal promotes the development of the ecosystem of vineyards and wine in Kosovo and in the international arena.<\/p>\n

Beneficiaries of this project, in addition to UPZ staff and students, are also local wine producers as well as the Winemakers’ Association of Kosovo “Enology” from Rahoveci. As a result of this project led by the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, it has become possible for local producers to participate for the first time in the world-leading Vinitech-Sifel fair for vineyards and wines in Bordeaux, with participants from more than 80 different countries of the world.<\/p>\n

The delegation of the University of Prizren met with many participants from universities and scientific and international institutions, where they discussed the possibility of cooperation in the field of agritourism and co-application in Erasmus projects. We are grateful to the French Embassy in Kosovo for the ongoing assistance given to the University “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren.<\/p>\n
