Workshop on the Drafting of the Strategy for the management of forest fires<\/h2><\/div>
<\/p>\n

Dean of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (FLES), Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Plakiqi Milami participated in the next Workshop being developed within the Program: Wildfire Management for the Western Balkans (LFMWB), organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, which is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation – SDC, coordinated by the Farmahem company from Skopje, North Macedonia, with the support of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation from Switzerland and the Regional Fire Monitoring Center (RFMC).<\/p>\n

The purpose of this program is to encourage regional cooperation, create joint policies, develop strategies and guidelines for wildfire management in Western Balkan countries, as well as define the role of all stakeholders in the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
