On this special day for the Earth, under the patronage of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (FLES) and with the support of the NGO \u2013 Ec ma Ndryshe, the Student Club of FLES celebrated the International Day of the Earth. During this ceremony, the Student Club Representative \u2013 Embrona Berisha and the Dean of FSHJM, Associate Professor Dr. Albana Milaimi, delivered a speech on the importance of the Earth and the dangers it faces from environmental pollution.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by Mr. Tahir Ahmeti, Director of the Department of Forests at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development, who gave a lecture to all students of “Ukshin Hoti” University on the topic: The Role of Forests in Protecting the Earth. The meeting continued and concluded with the naming of all the trees in the University Campus.<\/p>\n

As a faculty, we thank NGO \u2013 Ec ma Ndryshe and the project: “Private Sector Partnership to Strengthen Higher Education”. Under the slogan “Love the Forests and Protect the Earth”, the Faculty of Life anf Environmental Sciences wishes you all a Happy Earth Day, hoping and wishing that we take care of nature and our only home – Planet Earth. Let’s celebrate Earth Day by emphasizing our responsibility to the environment and by taking concrete actions to protect and preserve our planet. Together, let’s commit to the care and respect for our planet, to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. All together for a healthier Earth and a more sustainable planet!<\/p>\n
