The First Phase of the Wildfire Management Program in the Western Balkans Starts in Kosovo<\/h2><\/div>
As part of the commitment to protect natural resources and strengthen institutional capacities in the region, Kosovo has launched the implementation of the\u00a0\u201cWildfire Management in the Western Balkans\u201d<\/em>\u00a0program, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.<\/p>\n

The first phase of the awareness campaign is currently being implemented, aiming to raise public awareness about the risks of wildfires and to strengthen landscape resilience through sustainable ecosystem management.<\/p>\n

This initiative focuses on the strategic prevention of wildfires through education and community mobilization, promoting a responsible approach toward the environment. The program prioritizes public awareness and concrete action, in close cooperation with public institutions, the media and local partners.<\/p>\n

Given the current wildfire situation in the country, we invite everyone to help disseminate the awareness materials, so that together we can increase social responsibility and protect our ecosystems.<\/p>\n
