As part of educational activities and cooperation with schools, the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Prizren “Ukshin Hoti” hosted 7th grade students from SHFMU “Arif Shala”, Korroticë e Poshtme (Drenas), in a study visit at the Nature & Biodiversity Lab (NaBiLab).

A total of 25 students participated in the activity, accompanied by 6 teachers, including one biology teacher. The visit took place from 15:00 to 16:00.

The activity was led by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Milaimi, with the support of students Anila Trupaj and Sumeja Ademi.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to:

• become familiar with the laboratory and its role in environmental education;
• observe biological collections of plant and animal specimens;
• learn about basic fieldwork methods in biology;
• observe simple demonstrations of species identification.

The activity was conducted in an interactive format, with students showing strong interest, asking questions and actively engaging in discussions.

This visit represents another important step in strengthening cooperation between the university and schools, and in promoting environmental education and scientific awareness among young students.
