Students of the Forest and Environmental Sciences Programme Conducted a Study Expedition to Divjakë
Working on environmental issues is not only a responsibility, but also a rewarding and meaningful experience. With this spirit, students of the Forest and Environmental Sciences programme of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (FLES), at University “Ukshin Hoti”, carried out a study expedition to the protected area of Divjakë.
The study visit was attended by students of the programme, accompanied by academic staff members: Ylli Kortoçi, Mirvjena Këllezi, and Faruk Bojaxhi.
During the expedition, participants had the opportunity to closely explore the natural and ecological values of this protected area, which is well known for its rich biodiversity, characteristic ecosystems, and effective environmental management.
The visit served as an important opportunity for students to connect theoretical knowledge with real practices related to protected area management, biodiversity conservation, and the protection of natural resources.
Divjakë remains an important example of harmonizing nature protection, environmental education, and sustainable development.
FLES remains committed to providing practical field experiences and educational activities that enrich the academic and professional development of our students.
