FLES Participates in the Training “Sustainable Prizren” within the Public Spaces 4All Project
Representatives of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (FLES) participated in a one-day training organized within the framework of the “Public Spaces 4All” project, titled “Sustainable Prizren: Circular Development, Nature-Based Solutions, and Participatory Planning”, which was held on November 25, 2025, at the ABI Green Hotel.
At this event, FLES was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirvjena Kortoçi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ylli Kortoçi, together with second-year students of the Forestry and Environmental Sciences study program, who actively participated in discussions and interactive sessions.
The aim of the training was to promote inclusiveness and cooperation between lecturers and participants by addressing key issues related to the sustainable development of the city of Prizren, such as public and green spaces, local economic development, climate change, and environmental pollution.
The training brought together representatives of non-governmental organizations, local institutions, persons with disabilities (PWD), students, women, and the media, making it an important platform for dialogue and the exchange of experiences.
FLES highly values the importance of such activities and remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development, social inclusion, and the education of students on contemporary environmental challenges.
