The Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Prizren “Ukshin Hoti” hosted an academic visit at the Nature & Biodiversity Lab (NaBiLab) from representatives of the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați (Romania).

The group included students from the fields of agriculture and nutrition, accompanied by academic staff. One of the participating professors serves as an Erasmus+ Coordinator at their home university.

The visit included a guided session led by Prof. Assoc. Dr. Albana Milaimi, focusing on presenting the laboratory, its collections and its educational and research potential.

Discussions covered:

• the role of NaBiLab in environmental education;
• opportunities for future institutional cooperation;
• possibilities for collaboration within the Erasmus+ framework.

The participants showed particular interest in:

• taxidermy techniques;
• species identification methods;
• herbarium collections;
• the diversity of animal species available in the laboratory.

This visit contributes to strengthening international academic cooperation and promoting NaBiLab as a platform for scientific exchange and environmental education.
