The Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences (FLES) at University “Ukshin Hoti” has successfully continued its promotional activities of study programmes in the secondary schools of the Municipality of Rahovec.

As part of this activity, Isuf Lushi, Sadik Maloku, and Fatlind Bajraktari presented the Faculty’s study programmes in the following educational institutions:

• “Xhelal Hajda” High School – Rahovec
•  Vocational High School – Rahovec
• “Ukshin Hoti” Upper Secondary School – Krushë e Madhe

During these meetings, graduating students and pupils were informed about the study opportunities at FLES, academic programmes, modern study conditions, teaching and research laboratories, as well as the professional perspectives offered by the fields of life and environmental sciences.

The presented study programmes were:

• Bachelor inAgribusiness
  • Bachelor inForest and Environmental Sciences
  • Master in Agribusiness Management
  • Master in Forestry Sciences and Forest Ecology

Students were also introduced to the modern infrastructure of the Faculty, including laboratories of environment, forestry, biology, chemistry, microbiology, and genetics, as well as NaBiLab – Nature and Biodiversity Laboratory, a contemporary space for teaching, research, and practical student activities.

FLES thanks the school managements, teaching staff, and students of Rahovec for their hospitality, cooperation, and interest shown during these activities.

The Faculty remains committed to bringing young people closer to quality higher education and preparing future professionals in the fields of life sciences, forestry, environment, and sustainable development.
