The Nature & Biodiversity Lab (NaBiLab) is an educational and scientific space dedicated to environmental awareness and education as well as to biodiversity research. The laboratory functions as a practical teaching facility for students of the Forest and Environmental Sciences programmes, as well as for school pupils, visitors, NGOs and cooperating institutions.

The laboratory hosts equipment for ecological fieldwork and biological collections both for scientific and educational purposes (species in Kosovo).

These collections contain species found in Kosova and can be used for practical teaching, training activities, school visits and environmental awareness programmes.

This initiative has been developed in partnership with the University of Konstanz, Germany as part of an international academic cooperation project, with the aim of establishing an open environmental learning centre for students and the wider community.

  • Promote biodiversity research and nature conservation
  • Strengthen international academic cooperation
  • Organize training courses and educational activities
  • Provide a meeting space for networking
