Promotion of the Book “Wildlife Management in the Republic of Kosovo” at FSHJM
This book provides a comprehensive and valuable insight into wildlife management and the importance of biodiversity conservation in Kosovo. During the promotion event, the key chapters of the book were highlighted, including:
- The need to treat hunting as a multidimensional activity;
- Drafting and implementing legal and sub-legal acts for hunting;
- Characteristics of wild animals and their interaction with the environment;
- The use of hunting weapons and the specifications for animal species that can be hunted across Kosovo;
- Procedures for applying for hunting permits;
- Management of animals for tourism, analysis of teeth and horns, and the promotion of the hunting profession.
This book addresses a significant gap in Albanian literature on wildlife management and serves as an important resource for readers and professionals in this field.
As a faculty, we are proud of Evelina Ajazaj’s achievements, as she stands as an inspiring example for our students and a testament to our commitment to nurturing outstanding professionals.
